Service: Historic Building Impact Assessment
After planning permission was refused we were consulted to undertake an historic building impact assessment on the Grade II Listed property to detail the surviving architectural features. The impact assessment was able to identify the most significant surviving features and propose a strategy to implement the proposed extension, including the removal of a 20th century chimney and chimney breast, without adversely affecting these features.
Detailed archive and archaeological research underpinned the successful planning permission for the conversion of a curtilage listed building. project.
